Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Senior Transmission Line Engineer to join our Power Delivery Team. This role offers flexible work arrangements, with remote or office options across the South-Central region.

You will lead high-voltage overhead transmission line projects up to 765kV, coordinate with clients, mentor staff, and ensure QA/QC compliance while delivering technically excellent designs. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in electrical transmission, PE license, strong PLS-CADD knowledge, and experience with

Qualifications

• 10+ years in electrical transmission design for power generation, transmission, or distribution projects.
• PE license; multi-state preferred.
• Strong knowledge of transmission line fundamentals and PLS-CADD operation.
• Excellent written and oral communication; English fluency required.
• Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for planning, design, and delivery of high-voltage transmission projects up to 765 kV.
• Lead and coordinate project execution layouts, schedules, and deliverables.
• Manage project meetings, client communications, and multi-disciplinary coordination.
• Mentor staff and ensure QA/QC adherence and safety standards.
• Support PM with scope, schedule, and budget development and updates.
