Job summary

GE Aerospace—Intergalactic, now part of GE Aerospace—seeks an Advanced Staff Thermal Systems Engineer to lead system-level architectures for aerospace thermal management. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, own technical execution, and serve as the primary technical contact for clients during development.

The role demands 15+ years in systems engineering with thermal systems, MBSE usage, and experience with VCS/LCS/ACS, MIL-STD-810/DO-160. You will mentor staff and drive technical strategy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Systems Engineering, preferably in Thermal Management.
• Strong knowledge of requirements management, verification/validation methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own program architecture and technical approach, including thermal and controls analysis.
• Lead technical activities across internal and external resources and manage risks.
• Document, plan, and execute programs with measurable objectives.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers during design development.
