Job summary

GE Aerospace’s Intergalactic division seeks an Advanced Staff Thermal Systems Engineer to drive system-level architectures and execution across multi-disciplinary teams. You’ll lead technical development, coordinate with program management, and serve as the primary client contact while mentoring junior staff.

The role emphasizes thermal management system expertise, MBSE usage, and proven leadership in aerospace programs, with a remote-enabled position and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Systems Engineering, preferably within Thermal Management.
• Strong understanding of aerospace requirements management, verification/validation, and MBSE concepts.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and communicating with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Develop program architecture and technical approach for thermal and control systems.
• Lead technical activities across internal groups and external vendors.
• Identify technical risks and ensure successful development program execution.
• Manage requirements traceability and verification/validation activities.
• Allocate high-level requirements to lower-level specifications and components.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical strategy and growth.
