Job summary

GE Aerospace's Intergalactic division seeks an Advanced Staff Thermal Systems Engineer to own system-level architectures and execution for aerospace programs. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate with program management, and serve as the primary technical contact for clients.

You will mentor junior staff, drive MBSE adoption, ensure traceability and verification, and guide design from prototype to production, while addressing risks and opportunities across thermal, fluids,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering with 5+ years in Systems Engineering.
• Experience with MBSE, requirements management, and aerospace verification.
• Knowledge of VCS/LCS/ACS and environmental testing methods MIL-STD-810/DO-160.

Responsibilities

• Develop program architecture and technical approach for aerospace systems.
• Lead technical activities across internal and external resources.
• Identify and manage technical risks and ensure program execution.
• Coordinate requirements traceability, decomposition, derivation, verification, and validation.
• Review documentation for prototype-to-production transition.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to engineering strategy.
