Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks an Advanced Staff Thermal Systems Engineer to lead system-level architectures and execution for aerospace thermal management programs. You will act as the primary technical interface with the client, manage a multidisciplinary team, and drive technical strategy across MBSE, modeling, and verification activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 5+ years in Systems Engineering; aerospace thermal experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MBSE, requirements management, and verification/validation methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead programs, document plans, and communicate across teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own program architecture and technical approaches for thermal systems.
• Serve as technical lead; coordinate activities with internal and external resources.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks; ensure successful program execution.
• Manage requirements traceability, decomposition, derivation, and verification/validation.
• Lead and mentor junior staff; contribute to engineering community.
