Ryder System, Inc. seeks a Telecom Engineer IV to provide Tier 3/4 support, engineering/design, testing, and deployment for the Enterprise Voice Team, including Voice Facilities, UCaaS, and VOIP devices. The role also mentors junior team members.

Key duties include leading escalations, participating in project design meetings, and coordinating across IT to implement designs while pursuing ongoing professional development and new technologies to strengthen the voice platform.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent 10 years’ experience focused on Telecommunications required.
• 10 years or more in Telecommunications with a VOIP / TDM focus required.
• VoIP knowledge important Advanced, Required.
• PBX knowledge important Advanced, Required.
• Call center administration skills important Advanced, Preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead Tier 3 and 4 trouble escalations, troubleshooting, issue isolation and root-cause analysis.
• Attend Project Design meetings with peers, IT Teams and Business Owners to determine required engineering for new projects.
• Support projects in design, testing and deployment, interfacing with other IT departments as needed.
• Pursue relevant education to stay current on technologies; assess new features and engage providers to enhance the Voice platform.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
