Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. seeks an experienced Telecom Engineer IV to deliver Tier 3 and 4 support, engineering and deployment across the Enterprise Voice Team, including Voice Facilities, UCaaS Platform and VOIP devices. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with Project Managers to drive delivery.

This role requires extensive telecommunications expertise, VOIP/TDM experience, and strong project management skills to ensure robust voice platform performance and user features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent with 10 years’ experience focused on Telecommunications is required.
• 10+ years in Telecommunications with VOIP/TDM, PBX, IT project management, budgets, and call center engineering is required.
• VOIP knowledge important, advanced; PBX knowledge important, advanced.
• Call center administration skills important, advanced; preferred.
• VoIP and PBX expertise essential for role.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 and 4 trouble escalation and root cause analysis.
• Attend design meetings with IT teams and Business Owners for new projects.
• Support projects through design, testing and deployment; interface with internal IT departments.
• Pursue education to stay updated on voice platform technologies and vendor features.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
