Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer IV to provide Tier 3/4 support, engineering/design, testing and deployment for Enterprise Voice Team components including Voice Facilities, UCaaS Platform, and VOIP interface devices.

You will mentor junior team members, participate in project design meetings, and collaborate with PMs and other IT groups to implement robust voice solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• Associate's degree or equivalent with 10 years’ telecom experience required.
• 10+ years in telecom with VOIP/TDM, PBX, IT project management and budgets.
• VOIP knowledge is important; PBX knowledge is important.
• Call center administration skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Tier 3/4 trouble escalations: troubleshoot, isolate, resolve, root cause.
• Attend project design meetings to determine required engineering.
• Drive design, testing, deployment of voice components with PM and IT teams.
• Stay current with new tech and evaluate features from vendors.
