Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer IV to provide Tier 3/4 support, engineering and deployment for the Enterprise Voice Team, including Voice Facilities, UCaaS and VOIP interfaces. You will mentor junior team members.

This role leads escalations, joins project design meetings, guides design, testing and deployment, and pursues education to stay current with voice platforms. Travel is expected at 1–10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 and 4 trouble escalation support, leading troubleshooting, issue isolation and root-cause analysis.
• Attend project design meetings with peers, IT teams and business owners to determine required engineering for projects.
• Support Projects from design, testing and deployment, interfacing with internal IT departments to implement designs.
• Pursue relevant education to stay abreast of new tech for voice platforms; work with providers to deploy new features.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
