Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer IV to support Tier 3/4 operations, engineering and deployment for Enterprise Voice, Voice Facilities, UCaaS, and VOIP devices.

This role mentors junior team members and collaborates with multiple IT stakeholders to ensure robust voice solutions. The candidate will lead design discussions, coordinate testing and deployments, and pursue ongoing education to stay ahead of platform evolutions and new features.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 10+ years in Telecommunications with VOIP/TDM focus required.
• PBX/Call Center engineering and IT project management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 and 4 support, engineering/design, testing and deployment for the Enterprise Voice Team.
• Lead troubleshooting, issue isolation, resolution and root cause analysis for escalations.
• Participate in project design meetings to outline required engineering for new projects.
• Interface with internal IT teams and project managers to implement designs and transitions.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with voice platforms and technologies.
