Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Telecom Engineer IV to deliver Tier 3 and 4 support, engineering/design, testing, and deployment for the Enterprise Voice Team, including Voice Facilities and UCaaS platforms. You will mentor junior team members and collaborate with other IT groups to implement robust voice solutions.

The role emphasizes staying current with new technologies, engaging with vendors, and supporting project lifecycles from design through deployment. Travel is 1–10%.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 3 and 4 support including troubleshooting, root cause analysis.
• Attend project design meetings to plan engineering for new projects involving the Enterprise Voice Team.
• Support project deployment from design to testing and rollout, coordinating with IT teams and project managers.
• Pursue ongoing education to stay current with platform advancements and vendor features.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
