Job summary
BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 for a limited-term assignment anticipated to last through June 2028. The role involves resolving complex, time-sensitive issues, including customer escalations, site downtime, and remote troubleshooting, with CSC support for ES 1.1x upgrades.
On-site collaboration is emphasized alongside flexible remote work in a hybrid setup. Candidates should have 3+ years of experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with BD products in healthcare
Qualifications
- 3+ years of equivalent experience or a Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience.
- Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years) and ability to write queries and analyze SQL data.
- Exposure to SSIS and SQL Reporting Services and ability to communicate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with Windows Server and hospital IT environments; networking knowledge is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Resolve complex, time-sensitive, high-risk issues including customer escalations, site downtime, and remote troubleshooting.
- Dispatch cases to field service technicians and coordinate with cross-functional teams; maintain thorough case notes in Salesforce.
- Support ES 1.1x upgrade efforts, collaborating with the upgrade team to ensure timely communication and regulatory compliance.
