Job summary

BD is seeking a Technical Support Specialist 2 for CSC support, focusing on ES 1.1x upgrade and implementation. You will work across the ES team to resolve complex issues, troubleshoot remotely, and coordinate with field technicians to ensure timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Electronic Technologies or 3+ years of equivalent experience.
• Microsoft SQL experience (2+ years).
• Must be able to write queries and analyze SQL data (SELECT and JOIN statements).
• SSIS (SQL Job) exposure/experience.
• SQL Reporting Services.
• Windows Server (2008+) and Desktop Administration (Win7+).
• Networking topology, terminology, commands.
• IIS and Web Application Administration.
• Group Policies Terminology and Administration.
• VMware Terminology and Administration.
• Application Installation and Troubleshooting.
• Ports (Networking/OS).
• Understanding of XML language (1+ years).
• Ability to review application and OS logs (2+ years).
• Flexible in working hours to meet remediation team/schedule.

Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving complex, time-sensitive, high-risk issues including customer escalations.
• Remote troubleshooting and dispatching cases to field service technicians.
• Collaborate with ES 1.1x upgrade team for timely communication and support.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements for ES 1.1x remediation.
• Maintain knowledge of ES 1.1x to troubleshoot and support.
• Provide CSC support to internal peers during ES 1.1x upgrade/implementation.
• Maintain data quality and complete case notes in Salesforce.
• Provide progress updates and gather customer feedback to ensure needs are met.
• Demonstrate understanding of Customer Education (clinical and technical).
