Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Substation Project Manager to lead HV and EHV substation projects within the Power & Energy Management Team. The role supports development, execution, and closeout with strong PM, QA/QC, and client-facing skills. Based out of TX with remote work flexibility and travel as needed.

You will manage budgets, schedules, and KPI tracking while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable power delivery solutions for clients across the South and Southwest regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Engineering, Construction Management or related field within the Power & Energy Market.
• 12 years of relevant post-education experience in a project management role within Power Delivery/Utility.
• Minimum of 5 years leading engineering and/or construction teams for HV/EHV substations.
• Experience with project management processes and tools: contract management, meetings, EVM, change, risk, schedule, financial.
• Proven track record delivering projects with QA/QC and client-facing leadership.

Responsibilities

• Provide PM leadership for HV and EHV substation projects, including budgets, forecasts, margins and KPIs.
• Develop and foster strategies to engage stakeholders and report progress.
• Lead pursuit decisions, contract reviews, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate resources and subcontracting with area/technical managers.
• Maintain regular project reporting and update clients on scope and budget.
