Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a Power Delivery - Project Manager to lead high voltage substation and transmission line projects. You will manage technical scope, schedules, quality, and finances while developing client relationships and marketing WSP’s services in the South and Southwest region.

Based in Houston, Austin, or Fort Worth with remote work options, travel to client sites is expected. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams through all project phases, ensuring delivery excellence and adherence

Qualifications

Bachelor's in Engineering or related field.
12 years of post-education experience in project management within Power Delivery/Utility.
Minimum 5 years leading engineering/construction teams on HV/EHV projects.
Strong knowledge of project management processes: contract, risk, schedule, and cost control.

Responsibilities

Provide PM leadership for HV/EHV substations and transmission line projects, managing scope, budgets, and KPIs.
Develop stakeholder engagement strategies and report on progress to clients and management.
Lead pursuit/initiation activities, contract reviews, risk mitigation, and pricing discussions.
Participate in or lead contract negotiations and client presentations.
Ensure QA/QC adherence and assign qualified staff for technical reviews.
Drive timely resource planning, risk management, and project closeout activities.
