Arcadis is seeking a highly motivated Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join the Power Delivery team in Albany, NY. This role involves engineering and detail design of substation electrical projects, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has at least 8 years of experience with substation projects and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. The position offers a salary range of $97,600 – $168,360 along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and PTO.
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with substation projects from 4 kV to 500 kV.
- Experience in substation physical layouts, bus configurations, grounding, and control building.
- Design experience adhering to National Electrical and Safety Codes.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for design and delivery of electrical projects on transmission and distribution substations.
- Lead preparation of project estimates and client engagement.
- Mentor junior team members and ensure quality assurance.
