Job summary

Arcadis U.S. Inc. seeks a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join the Power Delivery team in North America. The role focuses on hands-on substation design, detail drawings, and studies for utility and developer clients, with travel up to 25%.

The candidate will interface with clients and multiple Arcadis teams, ensuring compliance with NEC/IEEE codes and safety standards while advancing project delivery and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant Substation experience (4kV–500kV).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SKM/ETAP, CDEGS/WinIGS, and other design software.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering, detail design, studies and delivery of substation projects from 4kV to 500kV.
• Prepare bidding documents, specifications, BOMs, shop drawings, and procurement packages.
• Coordinate with civil/structural/HV P&C teams to develop complete construction design packages.
• Serve as Project Manager/Proposal Manager and Technical Lead to support business growth.
