Arcadis is seeking a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join the Power Delivery team in North America. The role focuses on hands-on design, studies, and coordination of substation projects from 4kV to 500kV, with leadership across engineering, management, and BD activities.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience, proficiency with AutoCAD and SKM/ETAP, and a strong grounding in NEC/NESC and IEEE standards. Travel up to 25% is possible within North America and internationally.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience within Substation projects from 4kV up to 500kV.
• Experience with substation physical layouts, section elevations, bus configurations, grounding, and HV/EHV design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SKM/ETAP, CDEGS/WinIGS, and other engineering software.
• Design experience adhering to NEC, NESC, IEEE standards and local codes.

Mansioni

• Engineer and deliver substation design packages for transmission and distribution substations 4kV–500kV.
• Prepare bidding documents, specifications, BOMs, and shop drawings.
• Lead project estimates, client engagement, and business development activities.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, P&C, telecoms, geotechnical engineers to complete construction packages.
• Act as Project Manager and Technical Lead to support growth in the region.
• Mentor junior engineers and perform QA/QC on team outputs.
