Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer in the Power Delivery group in North America to lead hands-on substation design, studies, and project delivery for utility and developer clients. You will interface with clients, project management, and engineering teams to ensure quality, schedule, and safety in line with Arcadis policies.

You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, contribute to proposals, and mentor junior staff while traveling up to 25% to client sites in North

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
Experience with HV/EHV substation engineering, design, and studies.
Proficiency with design standards (NEC, NESC, IEEE) across jurisdictions.
Ability to manage substation projects from 4kV to 500kV.

Responsibilities

Responsible for engineering, detail design, studies and delivery of substation projects from 4kV to 500kV.
Lead preparation of estimates, proposals, and client engagement activities.
Coordinate with civil/structural/high-voltage P&C engineers to produce complete IFC design packages.
Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager and Technical Lead to support business growth for the region.
Mentor junior engineers and ensure QA/QC on team work; engage with clients and vendors.
