Zusammenfassung

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Substation Electrical Engineer to join the Power Delivery team in North America. The role focuses on hands-on substation engineering, detail design and studies for utility and developer clients up to 500 kV, with a leadership role in project management, proposals and client engagement.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering disciplines, mentor junior staff, and travel up to 25% for client sites and meetings, in North America and potentially internationally.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant Substation experience (4kV–500kV).
• Experience with HV and EHV substation engineering & design and studies.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SKM/ETAP, CDEGS/WinIGS, other engineering software.

Aufgaben

• Engineering, detail design, studies and delivery of substation projects from 4kV to 500kV.
• Prepare bidding documents, specifications, BOMs, shop drawings, procurement and construction docs.
• Lead and participate in project estimates, proposals, client engagement and business development.
• Coordinate with civil, structural, high-voltage P&C, telecom engineers to create complete design packages.
• Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager and Technical Lead to support services and growth.
• Mentor junior team members and perform QA/QC on work.
