GovCIO is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator (Specialist/Lead) to join our Subcontracts Team. This fully remote role within the United States offers an opportunity to lead life‑cycle subcontract management for complex programs.

You will negotiate terms, manage contractor performance, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet program objectives and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience complying with CPSR policies and procedures.
• Experience in subcontracting with emphasis on negotiation and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of federal subcontracting and negotiation techniques.
• Working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS.
• Experience with proposal support activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications, such as Excel, Word, etc.
• Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
• Multitasking and time-management in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Administer full life cycle subcontract management activities for programs within assigned operations, including proposal support, pricing, and award of subcontracts.
• Support the VETS sector.
• Develop strategy for competitions and manage subcontractor performance.
• Ensure subcontract files are reviewed and compliant with regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align subcontracting with prime contract requirements and objectives.
• Monitor supplier delivery and resolve performance or quality issues with operations.
