Job summary

GovCIO is seeking a Senior Subcontracts Administrator (Specialist/Lead) to join our Subcontracts Team. This role is fully remote within the United States.

You will oversee full life cycle subcontract management, negotiate terms, ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and CPSRs, and collaborate with cross-functional leadership to resolve procurement issues. Strong communication, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience complying with CPSRs policies and procedures.
• Experience in subcontracting and related functions with emphasis on negotiation and performance management.
• Strong knowledge of federal subcontracting and negotiation techniques.
• Working knowledge of the FAR and DFARS.
• Experience with proposals.
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Excel/Word).
• Strong business acumen and leadership skills.
• Multi-tasking and time-management in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build relationships internally and externally.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable presenting to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Administer full life cycle subcontract management across programs, including proposal support and negotiations of NDAs and teaming agreements.
• Support the VETS sector.
• Develop strategy for competitions and manage subcontractor performance.
• Ensure subcontract files comply with Authority to Operate and contract requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align procurement with prime contracts.
• Monitor supplier delivery and resolve performance/quality issues.
• Advise operations on procurement issues and strategies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
