Job summary

The Adecco Group is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive profitable new sales within our Recruitment Solutions portfolio in the Richmond area. You will build relationships with existing and potential clients, define hiring strategies, and lead client-specific initiatives to achieve revenue and profitability goals.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least two years of sales experience, with travel up to 80% per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and at least two years of sales experience.
• Combination of post-high school education and related work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree (six years).
• Staffing or HR solutions industry experience is highly desirable.
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 80% per week is required.
• Reliable transportation is required.

Responsibilities

• Identifies sales opportunities and consultatively sells solutions to assigned clients.
• Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs.
• Develops client-specific strategies aimed at revenue and profitability targets.
• Regularly conducts site visits and sales meetings with clients.
• Negotiates client contracts, renewals, extensions and amendments.
• Produces, analyzes and communicates sales forecasts to stakeholders.
