Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative for a US territory that includes TX and surrounding areas. You will deliver clinical knowledge of Amgen products to physicians, navigate payer environments, and drive sales through in-person and virtual programs.

Candidates with pharma/biotech experience and strong relationship skills are preferred. The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to Amgen values, and a passion for serving patients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED with 6 years of Sales experience.
• Senior: Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience; or Associate degree with 6 years and/or High School with 8 years.
• Preferred: pharmaceutical/biotech/healthcare industry experience; leadership under pressure; product/hospital sales exposure; strong relationship-building across markets.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
• Lead sales programs, promote products, and meet or exceed sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement.
• Develop relationships with accounts, ensure product access, and resolve reimbursement issues.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and develop territory plans with the District Manager.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a Specialty Representative.
