Job summary

Amgen in the United States is seeking a passionate Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative to connect with medical professionals, promote Amgen products, and navigate complex payer environments. You will implement marketing strategies and serve as the primary customer contact in your assigned territory.

The role focuses on building relationships, driving sales, and delivering on brand messaging while collaborating with the District Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree OR Associate's degree and 4 years of Sales experience OR High school diploma/GED and 6 years of Sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of sales experience and/or clinical experience in healthcare / scientific field that is not sales related.
• Industry knowledge in pharmaceutical, biotech or medical devices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide current and comprehensive knowledge of Amgen’s products to medical professionals.
• Deliver branded sales messages and conduct programs to achieve territory targets.
• Develop relationships to service accounts and manage discussions based on customer needs.
• Ensure product access and resolve reimbursement issues and contracts.
• Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow in the role.
• Maintain Amgen values and uphold patient-focused messaging throughout the sales cycle.
