Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Specialty Representative/Senior Specialty Representative to cover selected Texas territories. You will provide current knowledge of Amgen products to healthcare professionals and drive appropriate utilization through both in-person and virtual engagement.

The role requires a relevant degree and sales or clinical experience in healthcare, with a focus on oncology, cardiology, inflammation, or related areas. Amgen offers flexible work models and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or an associate's with 4 years of sales experience, or a high school diploma with 6 years of sales experience.
Preferred qualifications include experience in pharmaceutical/biotech settings and strong relationship-building abilities.
Demonstrated ability to influence and drive sales in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

Communicate clinical benefits of Amgen products to medical professionals to drive appropriate utilization.
Lead territory sales through branded messaging, programs, and educational activities.
Develop and manage accounts, customize discussions, and resolve reimbursement issues as needed.
Provide feedback on marketing strategy and territory plans with the District Manager.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and grow as a specialist representative.
