Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer to join our Public Sector Pre-Sales team.

You will be the technical expert, partner with engineering and business teams, and deliver innovative solutions that drive value for government and regulated industries. Key responsibilities include leading pre-sales technical processes, delivering demos and PoCs, designing solutions to meet customer needs, and tracking activity for business analysis while collaborating across teams in a

Formación

8 years of experience and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
Experience in a customer-facing consulting, technical solutions pre-sales or pose sales role.
Background in web acceleration, web security, infrastructure security or cloud computing solutions.
Understanding of internet protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTML, SSL) and cloud computing.

Responsabilidades

Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers.
Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring accuracy of technical information and recommendations.
Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet customer needs.
Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
