Akamai is expanding its public sector business, shaping strategic partnerships with federal system integrators, GovTech providers, and emerging startups. This Senior II role focuses on alliance and channel models to accelerate government go-to-market and deliver joint value propositions with Akamai’s edge security platform.

You will collaborate across the public sector to engage Tier 1 contractors, craft tiered partnership programs, and navigate federal procurement vehicles such as GSA, CIO-SP3,

Qualifications

• 8+ years in federal business development with alliance and channel experience.
• Deep knowledge of federal procurement: RFP, RFI, RFQ, OTA.
• Proven track record with federal contractors and GovTech providers.
• Familiar with federal contract vehicles: GSA, CIO-SP3, OASIS, SEWP.
• Knowledge of FedRAMP, CMMC and security standards.
• Understanding of CDN, edge security, Zero Trust architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement strategy with Tier 1 federal system integrators and GovTech solution providers.
• Develop strategic alliance and channel partnership models for go-to-market approaches
• Build strategic alliances with large federal contractors while developing channel partnerships with emerging providers
• Create tiered partnership programs for large contractors and innovative startups serving government
• Develop joint value propositions combining Akamai's edge security with federal technology provider capabilities
