Job summary

Akamai’s Public Sector team is delivering cutting-edge cloud security, edge computing, and content delivery solutions to government agencies and defense organizations. The Principal Enterprise Architect will design, evangelize, and deliver comprehensive solutions that leverage Akamai's portfolio to meet mission-critical needs.

The role requires extensive public sector experience, technical proposal writing, and strong presentation abilities to engage with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant experience in technical architecture.
• Public sector experience preferred.
• Proven experience writing technical proposals and RFP/RFI responses.
• Strong presentation skills for industry events and webinars.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to technical sections of proposals and white papers for public sector RFPs and RFIs.
• Serve as a public-facing technical expert for Akamai at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
• Engage with public sector customers to understand mission-critical needs.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales teams to tailor solutions.
• Represent Akamai as a thought leader on cloud security, edge computing, and web application protection.
• Lead technical solution development, stitching together Akamai's portfolio to meet public sector requirements.
