Job summary

Alkira, Inc. is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer, Pre-Sales (West) to lead technical engagement in the United States across Pacific, Mountain, or Central regions. This remote role requires collaboration with Account Managers, delivering strong technical demos, and shaping deployments for large enterprise deals.

You will own technical aspects from initial conversations through POC to close, influence product direction, and help respond to RFPs/RFIs while traveling up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing pre-sales engineering role or similar.
• Strong networking fundamentals and hands-on routing knowledge.
• Experience with cloud networking constructs and SD-WAN is highly preferred.
• Capable of presenting to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to run Proof of Concepts end-to-end.
• Experience with RFP/RFI responses and product feedback loop.

Responsibilities

• Present and demo the Alkira platform to technical decision makers from engineers to CIOs.
• Articulate Alkira value proposition and competitive landscape.
• Partner with Account Managers to understand customer requirements and respond to technical asks.
• Scope, run and win Proof of Concepts end to end.
• Assist customers with design and deployment based on best practices.
• Provide feedback to Product Management based on customer needs.
