Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Merchant Engineering team.

You will combine technical aptitude, communication skills, and creative problem solving to design and implement scalable solutions for enterprise merchants on the Aff… platform. You will work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Product, acting as a trusted advisor, influencing product direction, and scaling internal processes for efficiency.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business/technology, or equivalent technical account management experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Partner Engineering, Solutions Engineering, technical sales or pre-sales roles.
• 3+ years of experience in the payments, fintech, or closely related industry.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on Aff…’s integration solutions, mapping capabilities to merchant systems.
• Architect elegant end-to-end solutions addressing merchant challenges, including complex integrations and customizations.
• Build trust with internal and external technologists and foster long-term relationships with Enterprise & Key merchants.
• Partner with sales and partner engineering to drive opportunities with largest customers.
• Provide actionable insights to influence product development and feature prioritization.
