Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Merchant Engineering team. You will blend technical depth with clear communication to help enterprise merchants design scalable integrations on the Affirm platform and drive platform adoption.

In this remote-first role, you will partner with Sales, Engineering, and Product, craft tailored demos, and provide architectural input to support pre-sales efforts for complex payments solutions. Travel up to 30% may be required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or similar
• 3+ years in payments/fintech
• Strong API, SaaS and enterprise-architecture skills
• Excellent communicator with technical and business audiences

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on Aff… integration solutions and map capabilities to merchant systems
• Architect end-to-end solutions addressing merchant challenges and priorities
• Build trust and foster relationships with Enterprise & Key merchants
• Lead pre-sales collaboration with Sales and Partner teams; develop demos
