Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Merchant Engineering team. You will work with Sales, Engineering, and Product to design scalable solutions for enterprise merchants on the Affirm platform.

You will develop technical narratives, architect end-to-end integrations, and help shape product direction while supporting sales planning and customer success. This is a remote-first role with up to 30% travel across the United States.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in business or technology or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, or related roles.
• 3+ years in payments, fintech, or related industry.
• Strong technical acumen in API integrations and enterprise architectures.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on integration solutions and product capabilities.
• Architect end-to-end solutions addressing merchant challenges and integrations.
• Build trust with enterprise merchants and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with sales to drive opportunities and groundwork for implementations.
• Provide the voice of the customer to influence product development.
