Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Merchant Engineering team. You will blend technical acumen with exceptional communication to design scalable checkout and payment solutions for enterprise merchants across Aff…’s platform.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product to drive solution strategy, create compelling technical narratives, and influence product direction. This remote-first role offers opportunities across the US with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business/technology, or equivalent technical account management experience.
• Strong technical acumen in API integrations, SaaS platforms, and enterprise architectures.
• Proven ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and drive projects to completion.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the subject matter expert on Aff… integration solutions and merchant checkout processes.
• Architect end-to-end solutions addressing merchant challenges and complex integrations.
• Build trust with internal and external partners and foster long-term relationships with Enterprise & Key merchants.
• Lead opportunities with sales and partner engineering for large customers and guide implementations.
• Act as the voice of the customer to influence product development and roadmap decisions.
• Create scalable knowledge assets and training materials to improve go-to-market efficiency.
• Provide technical input into sales planning, identify risks, and help design scalable engagement models.
• Develop pre-sales material and custom demos to support product launches.
