Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant to advance our customers’ security journeys. In this remote, field-based role, you will lead technical guidance, define designs, and drive value realization across on-prem, cloud, and security operations as part of a global team.

You’ll engage with buyers, deliver demonstrations, validate solutions, and collaborate with services and specialists to win and expand multi‑product deployments. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering.
• Skilled in Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint or SASE.
• Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives.
• Influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders; prior pre-sales experience ideal.
• Creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements.
• Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.
• Partnering with Customer Support to ensure successful implementation and adoption.
• Experience in complex sales with long cycles and multi-product solutions.
• This is a field sales position with travel to support in-person meetings; discuss specifics with recruiter.
• Proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and exceeding sales quotas by building strategic, technical account plans.
• Positioning and demonstrating high-level designs across the PANW portfolio to create business value.
• Driving customer adoption by improving productivity, security efficacy, and flexibility to innovate.
• Conducting discovery to understand customers' technical, operational, and commercial imperatives.
• Collaborating with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams for implementation and adoption.
• Delivering compelling presentations and customer-specific demos with clear, impactful messaging.
• Leading technical validation efforts based on best practices to win opportunities.
• Providing cross-functional leadership to coordinate resources for a cohesive strategy.
• Promoting end-to-end solutions that include services for quicker value realization.
• Staying aware of competitive landscape and differentiating PANW leadership.
