Job summary

Elastic is seeking a Solutions Architect to act as a technical authority for our sales team, customers, partners and community. You will understand customer goals, articulate how Elastic Stack meets their needs, and drive value-based engagements across complex environments.

You will collaborate with sales and engineering, leverage our cloud-based solutions for search, security and observability, and travel ~30% regionally with occasional international opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical presales and selling technology to customers.
• Ability to articulate complex architectures and business value.
• Proven track record of building trust with customers and partners.
• Strong collaboration with sales, product, and engineering teams.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% within region and occasionally internationally.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical point of contact for accounts in assigned territory.
• Understand customer goals and articulate how Elastic offerings address needs.
• Own value-based relationships at all levels in customer organizations.
• Participate in planning and execution from discovery to technical win.
• Demonstrate Elastic products and solutions in meetings and events.
• Advise sales on effective positioning of Elastic products and services.
• Onboard and enable partners, supporting them in sales cycles.
• Craft collateral and collaborate with teammates to meet client needs.
• Voice customer needs to engineering and leadership for improvements.
• Develop both sales and technical skills through ongoing learning.
