Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Service Transition Manager to lead end-to-end transitions of Application Maintenance Services, AMS, and Application Development into stable operations across the United States. You will drive transition planning, governance, and knowledge transfer while coordinating with offshore teams and third-party suppliers.

The role emphasizes client engagement, executive-level communication, and transition solutioning with a strong focus on delivery quality, timelines, and budgets.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT services experience with 5–10 years in Service Transition or Transition Management.
• Experience in end-to-end transitions for Application Support, AMS, and Application Development.
• Proven client-facing leadership with senior stakeholders and workshops.
• Experience with RFP/RFI responses and multi-tower transition planning.
• Hands-on scheduling, reporting, and financial governance including executive briefings.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end transitions for Application Support, AMS, and Development services.
• Develop integrated transition plans with milestones, dependencies, and resources.
• Manage governance, risks, issues, quality, budgets, and forecasts.
• Engage clients and internal teams across offshore and onshore partners.
• Own transition solutioning and sales support, including estimates and timelines.
• Support sales pursuits with RFP/RFI responses and executive presentations.
