Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Service Transition Manager to lead full-lifecycle IT infrastructure and service transitions across our program, coordinating procurement, change management, logistics, engineering, and network operations to ensure mission readiness in DISA/DoD environments.

You will drive transition plans, validate designs and BOMs, participate in governance forums, and ensure compliance with program policies while delivering clear milestones and risk updates to government leadership.

Qualifications

• Active Top-Secret clearance (SCI preferred).
• 10+ years in IT lifecycle deployments in ITSM/ITIL.
• Experience leading 60+ personnel in large projects.
• Experience with DoD/DISA environments.
• Knowledge of PM/PMO methodologies (PMBOK/Agile).

Responsibilities

• Lead service transition activities for voice, video, and data services from development through deployment.
• Develop and execute Service Transition Plans with security and continuity requirements.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and validate BOMs for procurement.
• Participate in governance forums (SEIPT, CCB, PRB) with risk assessments.
• Ensure changes adhere to controls and processes before deployment.
• Oversee service documentation, SOPs, diagrams, and support models for compliance.
• Collaborate with DISA stakeholders to integrate services into workflows.
• Identify risks and resources; track issues and mitigations.
• Provide milestones and risk briefings to leadership.
• Support continuous ITIL/service transition improvement.
