Job summary

Capgemini in the United States is seeking a Senior Service Transition Manager to lead end-to-end transitions of AMS, Application Development, and managed services into stable operations.

You will govern transitions, develop integrated plans in Microsoft Project, coordinate with client and offshore teams, support RFP/RFI responses, and drive continuous improvement with automation and AI-enabled practices.

This role offers exposure to global accounts and a path to senior leadership within Capgemini.

Qualifications

• 10+ years IT services experience, including 5–10 years in Transition/Transition Management roles.
• Experience managing large, complex transitions for Application Support, AMS, and Development services.
• Sales support, estimation, RFP/RFI responses, due diligence, and multi‑tower transition planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Application Support, AMS, and Application Development transitions, incl. planning, governance, knowledge transfer, readiness, stabilization, handover to steady-state operations.
• Develop and manage integrated transition plans using Microsoft Project with milestones, dependencies, critical paths, resources, and exit criteria.
• Manage transition governance, risks and issues, quality assurance, status reporting, budgets, forecasts, and contractual commitments.
