Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer based in the United States to lead human-centered design initiatives for federal government modernization projects. You will guide discovery, translate research into actionable strategies, and collaborate with product, engineering, data, and research teams to deliver measurable improvements.

This remote role supports programs including the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in service design, UX design, user research, or related discipline.
• Ability to lead complex service design engagements and influence client decisions.
• Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills with evidence-based recommendations.
• Experience working with product, engineering, data, research, and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to apply responsible AI-enabled approaches to improve outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements ensuring high-quality delivery.
• Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs, processes, and technology ecosystems.
• Map relationships between people, processes, technologies, and organizations.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, researchers, and other specialists.
• Build trusted client relationships and present service design recommendations.
