Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Service Designer to lead human-centered design initiatives for federal government modernization efforts. This fully remote role focuses on discovering user needs, translating insights into actionable strategies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across product, engineering, data, and research.

Initial work involves programs supporting the VA and mission-driven environments.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in service design, UX design, user research, or related discipline with leadership of complex engagements.

Responsibilities

Lead complex, cross-functional service design engagements with high quality and timely delivery.
Apply mixed-method research to understand user needs and translate findings into actionable insights.
Map relationships between people, processes, technology, and organizations for holistic service understanding.
Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and research to define problems and develop solutions.
Engage with client stakeholders, present findings, and defend service design recommendations.
