Job summary

Axon is seeking a remote, field-based Sales Engineer to support Dedrone integrations and POC activities for customers worldwide. You will master Dedrone technology, explain complex security solutions, and collaborate with CIOs and partner teams to craft winning proposals.

Travel up to 50% is expected. You bring 3–5 years of pre-sales or consulting experience in SaaS, strong networking and Linux knowledge, and the ability to present clearly to technical and executive audiences.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Science or 5+ years relevant experience.
• 3–5 years customer facing pre‑sales or consulting experience.
• Experience selling SaaS based solutions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Achieve mastery of all Dedrone technology.
• Lead business and technical presentations effectively with written and oral communication.
• Have technical conversations with IT departments and channel partner leadership.
• Set and manage expectations with customers and team members.
• Provide 1st-level technical support throughout the pre‑sales cycle for opportunities.
• Develop relationships with key partners for growth within their customer base.
• Provide responses to customer RFPs / RFIs.
• Represent the products and company values at field events and conferences.
• Take ownership of POC/Pilot process and coordinate logistics across stakeholders.
