Job summary

Axon is seeking a remote Deployment Lead for its Real-Time Awareness portfolio, based in Canada with 60% travel. You will own Dedrone deployments from planning to go-live, working with Fusus and DFR integrations while coordinating with Axon’s Sales, Product, and Engineering teams.

You will train customer drone teams and public safety operators, translating complex workflows into clear actions, and ensuring successful project delivery across diverse environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in customer-facing roles (Professional Services, Field Engineering, Deployment).
• Direct experience deploying hardware/software solutions in complex environments.
• Understanding of drone systems or airspace management is a plus.
• Ability to obtain relevant remote pilot certification or equivalent within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead Dedrone deployments from post-sale through full operational readiness.
• Support Fusus, Drone as First Responder (DFR), and integrations across Axon ecosystem.
• Deliver role-based training to customer drone teams and public safety staff.
• Define operational policies and workflows integrating Dedrone with Axon tech stacks.
• Coordinate third-party training and integration vendors and ensure delivery quality.
• Conduct site assessments for hardware placement and RF coverage.
• Maintain deployment documentation, SOPs, and training plans.
• Provide post-deployment monitoring and issue resolutions with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Engineering to drive outcomes.
• Capture customer feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
