Job summary

Affirm, Inc. is hiring a Senior Sales Engineer to join the Merchant Engineering team. You will combine technical aptitude with strong communication to design scalable, reliable solutions for enterprise merchants on the Affirm platform.

You will collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Product, develop compelling technical narratives, and influence product directions while traveling up to 30% as needed. This role is remote-first within the United States.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in business/technology or equivalent technical account management experience.
• 4+ years in Sales Engineering, Solution Architecture, Partner Engineering, Solutions Engineering, technical sales or pre-sales roles focusing on solution architecture and best practices.
• 3+ years in payments, fintech, or related industry.
• Strong technical acumen in API integrations, SaaS platforms, and enterprise architectures with emphasis on checkout and payment systems.

Responsibilities

• Serve as subject matter expert on Aff… integration solutions and merchant checkout workflows.
• Architect end-to-end solutions addressing merchant challenges and optimize for business priorities.
• Build trust and relationships with Enterprise & Key merchants.
