Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant sales advisory or sales engineering experience.
• Mainframe security experience with AS/400 IBM i and z/OS.
• Mainframe Modernization experience.
• REST services and application development experience.
• Strong problem solving and requirements gathering skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated and able to handle multiple tasks to meet business needs.
• Detail-oriented and quick to learn new concepts and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Relate to customer challenges and provide clear, value-based solutions.
• Present solutions to customers and partners with or without sales support.
• Support partners in all aspects of the sales process.
• Convey technical details to non-technical audiences and build credibility with technical audiences.
• Qualify opportunities by understanding user requirements and technical environment.
• Mentor and guide partners and peers on software components and delivery concepts.
• Handle objections professionally and respond quickly and coherently.
• Self-manage assignments and multiple projects from start to finish.
