Rocket Software is seeking a Customer Solutions Engineer Senior Consultant to lead mainframe modernization projects, delivering technical solutions and customer-focused leadership. The role emphasizes design contributions, POC development, and deployment of Rocket products within complex IT environments.
The ideal candidate will drive client success, mentor teams, and communicate effectively with stakeholders while aligning with architectural standards and project scope in a remote US setting.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of relevant technical experience.
- Excellent communication / customer service skills.
- Proactive and able to work under pressure.
- Experience in complex IT project implementations, customization/maintenance.
- Analytical mindset for defect resolution.
- Organized and methodical, multi-tasking.
Responsibilities
- Provide services to customers (75%).
- Lead design for deliverables and assist in Rocket product deployment.
- Create POC/PVO tech analysis and pilots.
- Conduct technical presentations/trainings to peers.
- Lead and communicate project status/risks to stakeholders.
- Determine technical resource requirements with PM.
