Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Routing Engine Developer to design and build a scalable routing platform for enterprise-scale contact centers. You will focus on real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions, working with Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures.

You will implement routing algorithms, ensure high availability, and collaborate with product, telephony, and CX teams to deliver resilient backend services and APIs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of distributed applications
• Expert-level Java and Spring Boot with REST, security, testing, and performance engineering
• Experience building routing logic for contact centers or CX platforms
• Knowledge of ACD concepts, queues, agent states, and workload balancing
• Strong experience with API-first design, event-driven architectures, and cloud-native systems
• Relational DB design with PostgreSQL or similar databases
• Excellent technical documentation and ability to lead client workshops
• Experience with real-time processing and high-throughput systems

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions
• Implement intelligent routing based on skills, priorities, capacity, and rules
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and performance across queues and workloads
• Design APIs for routing configuration, administration, monitoring, and integration
• Collaborate with telephony, messaging, CRM, and analytics platforms
• Translate business requirements into routing components and technical roadmaps
• Define non-functional requirements for availability, performance, security, and observability
• Review designs, identify risks, and drive quality- time-cost balance
• Establish engineering standards, reusable patterns, and documentation expectations
• Collaborate with CX domain experts on routing capabilities
