Job summary

Miratech is seeking a Senior Routing Engine Developer to design and build the next generation interaction routing platform for enterprise-scale contact centers. You will create core routing engines, real-time decisioning, and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and cloud-native architectures.

The role involves implementing routing algorithms, ensuring high availability and low latency, and integrating with telephony, CRM, analytics, and identity systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with ownership of distributed applications.
• Expert-level Java and Spring Boot, REST APIs, persistence, security, testing, and performance engineering.
• Experience building routing logic for contact centers, communications, or customer engagement platforms.
• Knowledge of ACD concepts, agent states, queue management, and workload balancing.
• API-first design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native engineering.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL) and data modeling.
• Hands-on with CX platforms and routing/engagement concepts.
• Excellent communication and ability to lead client-facing workshops.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-scale routing engines for real-time distribution of voice and digital interactions.
• Implement intelligent routing algorithms based on skills, priorities, capacity, and business rules.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, resilience, and performance across routing paths and workloads.
• Design APIs for routing configuration, administration, monitoring, and integration requirements.
• Collaborate with telephony, messaging, and CX platforms to integrate routing services.
• Translate business requirements into scalable routing components and roadmaps.
• Define non-functional requirements for availability, security, observability, and disaster recovery.
