Job summary

Voya Financial, Inc. is seeking a Plan Manager to support some of our largest retirement plan sponsors.

In this client-facing role, you will build and strengthen relationships, deliver exceptional service, and help drive client satisfaction and retention in a fast-paced financial services environment. You will collaborate across multiple business areas to resolve complex issues, improve processes, and support the long-term success of our clients and their participants.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated customer service experience and relationship management skills.
• Experience managing complex, sensitive, or at‑risk client relationships.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact for assigned retirement plans, including larger and more complex client relationships.
• Manage complex and sensitive client service issues and provide timely, effective resolution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with plan sponsors, participants, distribution partners, and third‑party administrators (TPAs).
• Resolve service and communication concerns through collaboration with internal teams, including money in, money out, technical services, operations, and recordkeeping.
• Partner with sales, recordkeeping, and operations teams to ensure plan alignment and client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to retain business and strengthen client relationships.
• Promote applicable products, services, and automation solutions based on client needs and plan assets.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives and product enhancement efforts.
• Support the onboarding, training, and mentoring of new team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
