The Senior Practice Manager serves as the operational leader for EON Care, a nationwide medical practice providing professional insertion services for the Eversense® continuous glucose monitoring system. This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of practice management including patient scheduling, provider credentialing, revenue cycle management, and multi-site operations across nearly all U.S. states.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience managing distributed healthcare operations and leading remote/mobile clinical workforces to deliver exceptional patient care while achieving operational and financial performance targets.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Practice operations management – Oversee day-to-day operations of EON Care's nationwide medical practice, ensuring efficient workflows, quality patient care, and compliance with all regulatory requirements across multiple states.
- Patient scheduling & access – Design and implement efficient patient scheduling systems to optimize provider utilization, minimize patient wait times, and maximize insertion volume across all service locations.
- Provider credentialing – Manage the credentialing and privileging process for all clinical providers, ensuring timely completion, maintenance of active credentials, and compliance with payer and facility requirements.
- Revenue cycle management – Establish and optimize end-to-end revenue cycle processes including charge capture, claims submission, denial management, collections, and financial reporting to maximize reimbursement and minimize days in A/R.
- Multi-site coordination – Coordinate operations across EON Care's distributed network of service locations, ensuring consistent processes, quality standards, and patient experience nationwide.
- Mobile workforce leadership – Lead, mentor, and manage a geographically distributed team of clinical and administrative staff, fostering engagement, accountability, and professional development in a remote work environment.
- Regulatory compliance – Ensure practice compliance with all federal, state, and local healthcare regulations, including HIPAA, OSHA, state medical practice acts, and payer-specific requirements across all operating jurisdictions.
- Financial performance – Develop and manage practice budgets, monitor key performance indicators, analyze financial and operational data, and implement strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Vendor & partner management – Manage relationships with key vendors including practice management systems, billing services, credentialing services, and facility partners to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Process improvement – Continuously identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes; lead implementation of process improvements and best practices.
Required education & experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive experience in medical practice management or healthcare operations.
- 5+ years of experience managing multi-site healthcare operations across multiple states.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue cycle management, including billing, coding, and collections.
- Expertise and direct experience in provider credentialing and payer enrollment processes.
Preferred education & experience:
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or related field.
- 3+ years of experience managing remote or mobile healthcare workforces.
- Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) or Fellow of the American College of
- Experience in specialty medical practices, medical device companies, or diabetes care settings.
- Experience scaling healthcare operations in high-growth environments.
- Proficiency with practice management systems (e.g., athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, or similar), EHR platforms, and analytics dashboards.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Supervisory responsibilities: Direct supervision of staff and administrative personnel; indirect oversight of contracted clinical providers.
- Work environment: Remote/home office with periodic travel to EON Care service locations, partner facilities, and corporate headquarters.
- Physical demands: Primarily sedentary work; travel up to 25%; ability to work across multiple time zones.
